Lukio's injury inducing 160 squat from last week.

This was the second and much better attempt. The spotters caught the first after Lurkio tried to re-rack the bar under the rack.

The depth on these was also far better than on some of the earlier squats.

Just did a bit of gay cardio:

15 mins crosstrainer
15 mins bike
15 mins treadmill

just needed to do something with my legs as its a bit frustrating not being able to work em!

I will have a light session tomorrow and may start with some bodyweight squats and get suited up and try a few light weights. We shall see!

Right, short sharp session completed, and the leg held up well. Not that I did a lot to tax it, because I didn't as can be clearly seen!

I strapped the leg up heavily with tight-fitting, double layer tubigrip from knee to groin, and then stretched, warmed up and then stretched some more!

I have decided to adopt a wider stance than I have previously used as I think this narrow stance I have is partly responsible for me falling forward at the most inopportune moments! The wider foot position, I feel, will encourage me to sit more into it. We shall see!

Started with loads of slow body-weight squats, building up to full rom. Then............

Squats:
10x bar
6x 40k
5x 60k
5x 60k

Decided to stop there as I felt that was enough. Rather pleased actually as each one was to full depth.

Bench:
30x bar
10x 40k
8x 60k
5x 80k
5x 90k (all paused)
5x 100k (touch & go)

Deads:
10x 60k
8x 80k
5x 110k
5x 110k

These pulled a bit at first off the ground, but adjusted and got around it fine. Plenty of gentle stretching again.

Rack Pulls (about 20" off ground):
10x 100k
8x 140k
5x 170k
3x 200k (used straps from these onwards)
3x 220k

T-bar Rows:
10x 50k
10x 65k
10x 65k

Quite a pleasing session bearing in mind recent events.

I remember Andy starting back at something like 60x10x3 after an injury and pulling on 10kg a week to get back to 200... it'll come back soon if you're gentle!
