A little about me... After ignoring good advice and deciding to drop to 90kgs and finding out the hard way that I will be too weak at that bodyweight, I have decided to return to the 100kilo, Don't really see myself doing a comp in the near future, so most of my training will be exploring new ideas, addressing weaknesses, lots of raw training, eating and bascially just having fun with it. 30/03/07 Raw Bench 60x6,80x4,100x3, 3board 120x3,130x3,140x3,150x3,3 Close Grips with chains 60x6,100x5,5,5 Lats Pulldowns Face Pulls 04/04/07 Box Squats with chains ( raw with belt) 60x6,100x4,125x2 work sets - 150 ( 8 sets of 2) Fronts Squats 80x8,8,8 Abs 06/04/07 Bench 60x6,100x3,125x3 3 board 140 - abadoned my tendons in the old foreman were killing me there, was pissed off, so just left it there. 08/04/07 Deadlifts ( suited sumo ) 60x8,100x4,140x4,200x3,240x2 202.5 ( 8 sets of 3) - was meant to use 192.5 but misload, oh well BB rows - 60 (3 sets of 8) Close grip pull ups - bodyweight(3 sets of 8) Stiff leg deadlifts - 130 (3 sets of 8) That was my first week on the ed coan routine (http://www.powerpage.net/coanphildead.html) Decided to do it sumo because I have been toying with sumo recently and it feels ok. Using a projected max of 320kgs so it is going to be hard work .I think I will have a reasonabe shot at 300 at the end of the cycle if 320 doesnt fall. 11/04/07 Box Squats with chains ( raw with belt) 60x6,100x4,120x4 chains on 140x2, 160 (7 sets of 2) Abs Left it there, was meant to do front squats and some curls to help my tendons but got lazy and couldnt be bothered , will need to sort that out. Ez Curls - bar + 20kg - 3 sets of 15. some vids of the benching.. 15/04/07 Deads ( sumo, suited, straps down) 70x6,120x4,160x3,200x2,255x2 207.5 ( 8 sets of 3) Ran out time for the assistance circut, was a really tough session due to a number of reasons, will need to get my act together next week If I'm to continue this routine. | ||
