just had a peek through the past few sessions of yours, and i noticed your deadlift is strong in comparison to some other lifts (log for example).... is this something you're aware of or am i just wrong lol

I agree with you my pressing utter s**t. I don't know why my deadlift is a lot stronger. Even my squat is s**te.

found dumbell farmers hard cause of the pain in hands easier on fat bar

Nice lifting mate,
if you have access to a viking press I would recommend that, did it for the first time on Saturday and it's a great contraption!

which deadlift comp is it, the SMUK one?
was thinking of doing that but the dates unfortunately dont add up

Cheers mate. I some times do abit of viking on event days.

Deadlift comp is just one the gym is putting on hoping to get around 20+ reps at that sort of weight.

What's the time limit? Best advice I have had is to pace yourself, otherwise the back gets too pumped and you get pain and have to stop. Slow steady and consistent reps. Did 17 or 18 in my last comp with 200kg axle in 90 seconds using that method. Still repping right to the last second rather than racing off and running out of steam.

There aint a time limit just done till you can't do no more. Cheers for the advice though gonna have to paste my self for yorkshires.

workouts look good pal, good pbs, im gona try have a ago at the yorkshire novice, pretty similar weights were throwing about, be a good match up. is that event kit at ur gym

By the sounds of it most people in the 105's are at the same level so it should be pretty tight. I train events at caged steel where the yorkshires is been held and train at ralls gym in leeds for gym lifts.
