intervile training from what i have read has a better impact on fitness, but to follow wht wild boar is doing looks like it works very well.

Don't lose too much lard mate, or you'll be wuppin' my ass in the 100s. Good luck with the fags. I stopped through the Allan Carr method. Never even meant to. Just watched the video out of curiosity and stopped on the spot! Might be worth a google.

Great lifting Tom. Now, I don't claim to be the font of all knowledge, and I'm quite ready to be corrected, but I think your chest is too big to benefit from floor presses and that you'd be better using a board and staying on the bench.

The point of floor presses, as I understand it, is that your elbows hitting the floor stop the bar coming all the way down and it sort of mimics the effect of using a board. But your chest is so well developed, my friend, that you're getting a touch on floor presses. A piece of 4 x 2 gives you 2 boards - a 2 and a 4 and you can strap it on with one of these elastic clips that cyclists use to keep things on the back of the bike if there's no spotter to hand. Think you'd get more out of that than you're getting on the floor. Just my opinion. I might be wrong.

agree with martin, bars about six inches off my puny chest when i floor press once every two years hate them anyway...much prefer close grip rack lockouts.
