What supplements (legal) do you guys recomend taking for helping with your training. Currently im just taking whey and Glutamine. Have a bit of spare funds and dont want to invest it on stuff that dont do jack s**t. Happy

do you compete in a tested fed?

if you do I wouldnt risk it on the fancy new supps out there chances are they contain somthing that will land you with a ban spend it on some good quility food, creatine, zma and a nice tasting protien powder

if you dont I havnt used them myslef for obvious reasons but there seems to be alot of good things said about supps like trizol and the new anabeta

Creatine and Whey

I thought ZMA had been proven to be a placebo and tha the studies done on it where funded by the same company that made it ?

Cheers for the advice guys. Suppose lots of food is the best way to improve. I try to eat every 2-3 hours and as clean as possible. Maybe up the calories a bit.

ZMA can definately help some people with sleep and deficiency in zinc can effect test levels amongst other things so I wouldnt say ZMA was bogus as such.

That said a good diet would provide sufficient zinc so food wins over supps either way.
