Like others have said I found from my first comp flapjacks and jaffa cakes worked well. Plenty of energy drinks, non carbonated ones though. I used some of the dissolvable tablet electrolyte drinks too.

great advice im 2 weeks away from my first comp as well so all questions i was wondering as well. jaffa cakes will now be in my gym bag lol Grin
