After Struggling for a Few Weeks On The 194kg Atlas Stone...

Decided i Need To Do Some Assistance Work For My Stones?

And Need Some Help?

I Read Somewhere That Still Leg Deadlifts Help? Confused

Any Advice Please Feel Free? Grin

Tbh if you attempting the 194 stone then what you need to do is to do reps with 140, 150, 160, 170 build up the strength.

Yeah I Was Going To Start Doing Reps With Stones As Well!

Just Wondered If Anyone Knew Any Assistance As Well As Repping With The lighter stones

Well sam, the way i learnt to lap the 160 was by repping the 140 (just the lap) then now i sometimes lap the 160 for triples and nearly getting the 175....

So maybe some sets with 175 just with the lap?? xxxxxx

Zercher squats, and zercher deadlift
Also try a loading pin off a barbell with plates on it. Also heavy ass rows

lets face it, some people train stones for years and do not get 195 up...

take a look at the static strength numbers of guys who have done the 195 and see where your gaps are perhaps?
