heyy all,

is there any percific things i can get to improve my squat...i.e Power Briefs, Belt....

..i use knee wraps and squatting shoes at the moment and would like some advice on wat else i can use or if you got something that helped you and would reccomend?

lol yhh sound about right what iv bin doing..

..just that last time ii squated felt like a sharp stabbing pain on the right side if my belly sooo i stopped and did some leg press. ( forgot to add this at the top)

sooo thought maybe the power briefs or/and a belt might protect and help my squat

I would be careful. You may be squatting your way to a hernia. I would check with your gp if this stabbing sensation re occurs.

As youngy said, you may have picked up a Hernia. I was unfortunate enough to incur a hernia (by lifting a bag of compost at B&Q...), it was a b**ch. Definately go see your gp, the time to worry is when you think you've aquired another testicle or have a golf ball lump just under and to the side of the belly button.

The thing that improved my squat most recently is good form. I spent a few months not bothering about going heavy and focused on form. Seemed to work for me.

Best advice I've had on here re training is.....keep it simple.

Yeah take of the wraps and squat raw until you build up a solid core, how about strength, technique and power to improve your squat, sounds like better options than Power Briefs to me!
