Sunday

C2

4 x 12 mins UT1, 3 MR

12 mins 3152 1:54.2 25 151
12 mins 2854 2:06.1 21 148
12 mins 3106 1:55.9 25 152
12 mins 3063 1:57.5 24 147

I was interrupted on the second rep and was off the rower for about a minute, so that's why the pace and SR is so low, but I know it was done at 1:55-1:56 pace because I kept it on that for the whole time. The rest between the second and third reps was also not 3 mins - it was more like 5-6 mins because I had something to do.

Not great pace, but I wanted to try to hold it more even, especially without a warm up.

It's a long way to row. Heart rate looks comfortable though Grin

I was wondering where you'd gone.

Nice to have you back and glad you got a bit of training in.

I've struggled this week to do much - I've been working till 11:30 most nights. I'll make sure I get a couple of decent sessions in over the weekend.

Friday

C2

Warm up
10 mins 2185m 25

AN 6 x 1:00, 1:00 rest

1 min 312 1:36.1 35
1 min 309 1:37 36
1 min 311 1:36.4 36
1 min 313 1:35.8 36
1 min 311 1:36.4 35
1 min 327 1:31.7 40

I didn't bother with the heart rate monitor, but suffice to say - my heart rate was high! It was a tough session, and I was having serious doubts half-way through about being able to keep up with the pace I set myself beforehand of 1:37, so I was pleased to have enough juice left in the tank to pick it up a bit on the last rep.

I needed a lie-down after that.

Excellent 6x1, I can almost get panicky after they first 2 - 3 on a session like that, not thinking I can get through the rest of it!

You can say whatever you want, JT.

Cheers, Bim. They are funny those AN sessions: Your mind plays games with you.

Sunday

C2

UT1 12 mins x 4, 2:30 rest

12 mins 3217 1:51.9 24 153
12 mins 3131 1:54.9 23 155
12 mins 3063 1:57.5 23 156
12 mins 3052 1:57.9 23 154

Final heart rates shown - 80-90% of the rowing was done below 153 (my top-end of UT1). Even though the pace is quite a bit slower than I would like it, I'm pretty pleased with the SR and the consistency.
