Pretty much, yeah. I've just got used to squatting in wraps and forgot what to do in the hole. That, along with not pushing training at all recently. I feel so detrained and weak at the moment - it's time to get serious now.

Huge warm up of OHS, Sots press, split press, power clean, push press, power jerk and then full clean and jerk.

Clean and jerk
60 x 2
80 x 2
90 x 2
100 x 2
90 x 2, 2
80 x 2, 2, 2 - cleans first, then jerks

Finished off with some split press in front and behind the neck.

Power clean and power jerk

Hang power clean and power jerk above the knee
70 x 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3 - done with 3 second pauses in the catches of the power cleans and the power jerks

Push press
90 x 3+0 - very rushed for time and a sweaty mess by this point

Cheers! The sweat patches weren't patches - there were dry patches I think (hope!) though.

I'm so unfit and detrained at the moment, and the humidity didn't help either. In a couple of months I hope to be crushing sessions like that with relative ease.

Monday 24th August

Front squat 3 second pause
60 x 3
90 x 3
110 x 3
120 x 3
107.5 x 3, 3, 3

Deadlift no belt
130 x 10 mixed grip (right hand supinated)
130 x 10 mixed grip (left hand supinated)
130 x 10 alternate grip each rep

This is how I'm going to my deadlifts from now on for a while.

10-9-8-7-6-6-4-4-2-1 of:
Squat clean (50)
Strict press (50)
Ring row
Bench press (60)
Chin-up

I had to stop after the 8s (20.15). Shoulder hurting, knackered and haven't done any assistance for a long time so will look to build on this.
