Strongbow session early this week as cricket Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Joni, Olly, Alex and Craig came up - cracking performances put in by everyone!

Pretty s**t really, but considering last time I did log I only managed 85kg x 2 at least I wasn't THAT bad. I need to get my skates on now though as both Joni and Olly nailed 100kg logs today!

Farmers walk
70kg x 40m
100kg x 40m left it there due to shin (it has been flaring up again since the start of the cricket season). I also t**tted my same shin on the farmers causing extreme pain so it was kind of a double whammy.

Stones to 54 inches (no tacky)
105kg x 2
130kg x 3 PB easy
150kg x 1 PB
140kg x 2 PB

Getting back on track now, just need to get my shin right so I can attack farmers and yoke again, and need to get my log semi-respectable (115kg this summer is the aim).

Was pleased with the squats as - 1, I've had a sore knee for most of this week (but not today), 2, I've not squatted heavy for ages and 3, I really don't deserve it as I've not been eating or sleeping properly at weekends due to over-indulgence. Deads were s**te though, and the 1 arm BB rows I din't want to cheat any reps up as I could just feel a little tweak which was enough for me. I hope to get 100kg on these sometime soon though (without too much body-English).

Probably Tony, but I still wanted at least 4.

Just about over the staggy now, just got to resist more big weekends (like the last 2!).

It was a rare occasion that I had a spotter, but there was another rep or 2 in the tank. Joni - I'll be reet for Sunday, no worries!

Good Rob. We have won our first 3 games beating 2 very strong sides so far. I'm opening the batting now and got a quick fire 35 yesterday. 22 not out last week and not many the first week, so a decent start. How about you?

Mixed session today, but mostly crap on my part. Craig and his brother Dean did very well indeed, Joni had a top session and Olly did alreet considering his lack of sleep.

Log was ok and I suppose I'm back to my best on it, still want the 110 though. Was pleased with the axle presses, gutted at the farmers pickups (although squatting/deadlifting on Friday probably didn't help (and if you're like Rob I'll include playing cricket yesterday too didn't help Tongue Grin ) and my stones, usual problem, high platform!

lol! You're a slogger all you do is walk into the middle, swing your arms about a little and then walk off for the butties! Different game from bowling. Some good scores though nice to see.

I only played the game last week as a favour, managed a sturdy 41 partnership of which I got 1 run. 3 overs for 8 runs. I was pretty rusty to say the least. Hopefully I will start playing properly in a month or so, need to lose a little bit more belly and get a bit fitter first.

You're right there Rob, bowling is a mug's game.

I was unsure whether to play or not this season, but I've enjoyed it so far so I see no reason to call it a day just yet. Plus it would be sweet to win the league!

Overhead is looking strong now mate. With a wee bit of planning, like not bolloxing yourself just couple days before the PB day, that 110kg is yours for the taking!

the 110kg was close, it will fall soon.. the issue with OH work IMO is it is unpredictbale waht you will hit.
