Looking at that 250kg you must be good to pb soon, at least another 20kg in the tank

Well, I was hoping for a pb at my last meet but couldn't commit due to a trapped nerve thats plagued me since I was a child, comes and goes...

If it comes while I'm due to compete it literally is a pain in the ass!

To be honest, every lifters needs are different, but it is a sound foundation that utilizes some of the most tried and tested methods. The routine is mine, but the principles are from trial and error from some of the greatest coaches of all time.

Prilepin is debatable as the greatest olympic coach of all time; he had a silly budget and human resource pool to try studies on, and after 6-7 years the numbers he produced are what is implemented in that routine. People try say that an olympic lift is different...which is true, but his studies were actually done on the back squat.

The second day is constant 80% as this is almost the golden number. It yields almost identical gains to 1RM but at a fraction of the loading/recovery cost.

There's s**t loads of science behind that routine, but without boring the s**t out of you, just take it in good faith that it isn't something that was just knocked up on the back of a bag of crisps.

Tonneage wave-loading and overreach surfing, with proper accumulation (transient and arching) have all been considered, but above all... it's been tried and tested.
