Any one use these products off Mark Bells website?

Are the compression cuffs as good as people make out, and is the slingshot a good way of increasing bench overload for the raw lifter?

I have a bit of elbow tendinosis from low bar squatting which i am addressing the cause of but if these could help alleviate it short term then i may purchase one of the cuffs. But i dont want the cuff to aid my lifting like a tight elbow sleeve. And if i did order one then i may get a slingshot too if its worthwhile to prevent me from making a possible 2 separate orders and paying for postage twice in the future lol.

Also, the hip circles, are they just fancy resistance bands?

cheers.

got a full boar slingshot. first 2-3 goes I felt no stronger with it than normal. but with a little practice and it probably unstiffening a little I've found it adds about 10% to my equivalent raw lift. has it helped? not sure, but I am stronger than I was 3 months ago and feel better at locking out which was always my weak point even as an unequipped lifter, usage pattern has been higher reps rather than single max efforts with it.

There's another post further down re the Slingshot's etc...

This is what I had to say:

I used mine a lot to help me through rehabbing my right torn shoulder; I could bench 180kg raw before it, my PB was 185kg but had been a distance away from that

I have benched 210kg in the Maddog slingshot but that was TnG; paused I managed 202.5kg so I'd say it'll have given me about 15kg but that was with a bad shoulder!

I benched 180kg for 2 paused singles last night, my shoulders doing a lot better but I'll work the SS back in somewhere in my pressing routine as I find it does help you to keep the shoulders safe/in a better line but also allows you to overload on the bench!

I train on my own so I bench in the power-rack so I can set the pins to catch the bench, should I fail! Being able to be right under the bar also allows me to use the SS effectively as the gym I train at, their bench, the bars quite behind you and it's an arse to get it off the pins when its loaded!

I bought a Hip Circle, there is a UK supplier which sells them for about £20 plus P&P so pretty cheap really. Can't say it has put kg on my squat or anything like that but it feels like a really good warm up for the hips/glutes. I think for someone who needs to fit in very short workouts some time or travel a lot and cant get to the gym it would be useful as part of a workout doing some BW squats.

Hip circles are great. No they obviously won't make you stronger but they are very good for warming up the hips.

If money isn't an issue then I would recommend it, however you certainly don't NEED it

Essentially this. I love the hip circle for warming up though.

What's the lowdown on the hip circle then? Although it's probably quicker to google it, I've typed this now, so can't be arsed.
