The medley is one of the events in my next comp' and boy was it a lung buster, going to keep training this regularly. I'm going to have to drop the dips and change them for cgbp because my right shoulder hurts when doing them. | ||

wales Member 1058, 5361 posts SQ 220, BP 140, DL 294654.0 kgs @ 106kgs UnEq | Thurs 22nd July Axle clean and press 55 x 8 70 x 5 85 x 5 92.5 x 8 Bench Press 70 x 6 85 x 5 100 x 8 Dumbell Press 50 x 3r 3l 55 x 1r 1l 60 x 1r 65 x 1r PB (wanted to go for 70kg but my dumbell broke when i landed it) Chins 3 x 10 Side plank 2 x 50secs Sled pull 100kg x 30m 100kg x 30m 150kg x 30m (first 15 down slight slope without rope 2nd 15m up slope with rope) 150kg x 30m 100kg x 30m (nearly spewing after these) Good session, did chins and sled today to make up for missing them on tues, happy with pb on db press, will have to take dumbell into work tomorrow to re-weld. Should get 70kg next time. | ||

Hey Neil, My legs were well pumped after tonights sled work, i've decided to up it a bit because i've entered a comp thats got a van pull as one of the events, and it coincides with a deload week, in 3 weeks so not bad timing either. | ||

Rows 90 x 10 100 x 8 100 x 8 100 x 8 2" Axle Deadlift 150 x 10 in 75secs Weighted sit-ups +15kg x 2 x 32 1k run in 3.57secs Well happy with tonights workout, tried axle deads for first time because got them in a comp in a couple of weeks, 180kg for reps in the comp' but 150kg didn't feel too bad so i may try the 180kg next week. 1k run under 4mins for the first time for a while, i'm a long way off my best time of 3.08, when i was running regularly, but i'm getting closer. | ||

Yoke-20m,Farmers-20m,Sled-20m. Atlas stone 115kg stone over 54" Yoke x 4 times Not a bad session, would have liked 10reps on the log as this is an event in next months comp, stones was good did 48" last time, used some wax my sis in-law got for me as tacky and its really good, came off easy with wd40 as well. | ||
