For the last week or so I've been unable to press with my right arm. Pain seems to come from the lower part of front delt.

I've had RC injuries before and this doesn't feel anything the same.

If I hold my arm out infront of me, palm down and rotate clockwise I can feel pain in the front delt as it goes over my arm. anti clockwise causes no pain at all.

Any ideas?

That's what I was thinking, tried stretching and rolling what i could (not easy there, but got a hard ball and rolled around against the wall) but doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Just out if interest has massage been proven to work?

It has therapeutic benefits and certainly doesn't worsen so I do believe it is worth a go

As with all injuries stepping back and seeing if things get better is a good call... Avoiding direct aggravation and seeking medical attention are all things you should bear in mind

In addition to this I personally would keep active and exercise areas that are not effected to minimise the effects this injury could cause you physically emotionally and psychologically

Unfortunately injuries however big or small happen to is all... It isn't important why as important what we do about them...I'm confident your shoulder will get better in time as almost all injuries do if tackled correctly

Fingers crossed for you mate

Well you are asking for advice from people who can't examine you, aren't medically trained and going off the info you give which is based upon your perception of the problem. If you get ill do you ask people on the internet what is wrong or do you see a doctor?

Also what happens if someone gives you advice on here and you follow it to the letter and things get worse? www.personalinjuryclaims.com

Do you not think he has a point though? Load of untrained people in a section of the forum designed to attract questions about a subject that you really need some training in before you start to give advice from people who have no training (hence asking the question in the first place). I'm assuming this issue could be quite serious and you would like the best direction and guidance? With that in mind as much as I love my Sugden brothers they may not be the best people to ask. I remember once asking about an apple sized anal protrusion and everyone laughed at me and took the piss. Aaron told me to see a physio. I think he may moonlight as a physio Confused
