f**king hate cardio,

been on 3 differnt sets of scales, my BW ranges from 104kg-111kg. great now i have a 3hr date tomorrow on the cardio machines to make sure i am below 105kg.

Natural southern qualifiers

Spent the day before in the gym 3hrs later I weighted myself and it said 110kgs so pissed off as I have been on so many sets of scales in the last few days which said 102-111kgs as my body weight. So began a crash weight loss. Stopped drinking, wrapped up warm for bed. In the morning drove 2hrs heater on full with all layers hats etc. got there early weighed 107 . Still had time so off to the gym to skip. Came back made weight felt f**ked. Relaxed in the car for a while.

1st event overhead throw, in practice only through a 5kg weight around. I had on tech came last.

2nd deadlift halfhearted attempt to lift 220kg broke the floor bt not to be, game plan was to strt slow and come back over the day.

3rd barrel loading asi placed last in the deadlift came out 1st. Finished it but off the pace about 10secs afterwards started to get cramps in my legs and calves.

4th log, felt heaver thn 100kg only got 2 reps but thiswas good enough for 3 or 4th place. Many didn't get one rep winner got only 4i think.

Had a call from home shortly after f,ily problems and wanted me to come home, ther was no was I could get top 5so didn't put up much of fight so called it day. No doubt the weight loss affected me. I had better events to come, but legs were like jelly

after the shambles of saturday chilled out and had a re-think. I f-ed up the cutting weight thing and going into the last week was over weight, stressed out made it but had no energy.

Will stick to 1 of 2 workouts at home now and continue cardio and bench in the gym during lunch and stay around 107-8 not 112kgs.

That weightloss must have been painful. I've done 100kg to 90kg but that was other 3 months and it sucked big time. Never again.

wasnt fun, i didnt have acess to a sauna which i think would have been a little easier. i was just knackard from all the cardio. couldnt drink til after the weight in. I looked good, the gut vanished. but couldnt lift for toffee.

sorted out my diet for next week too; after my week off training.

8.30am ceral, banana and protein shake
11.00am protein shake
2.30pm tesco £2.50 meal deal.
4.00pm protein shake
8.30ish meat or fish and 2 veg.

Bored with all my cardio being bike, rowing machine and treadmill so joined a Gracie BJJ club so far done 3classes this week I won't spar every session but great for weight control. Picked up a few aches and pains but at least I feel I am working my body.

Bw must be 110kg hopefully cut the crap out of the diet and I should drop a few kgs

I used to study bjj a good few years ago but didn't really connect with the instructor, this new gym is very relaxed short warm up, drilling tech and then sparing. classes 3times aday. Hope to do 4-6 classes a week and 2weights sessions. Mix it up a bit
