It's going well, lots of sparring. May try and get some private classes in submission wrestling to develop my subs a bit more.

nice, i havent done any striking for ages. i was really enjoying my grappling / bjj before i tore my groin. the instuctor here films all the privates which is good, maybe try that it helps so much in improving your ground game.

Is the injury bad? How long will it take to heal?

When I say sparring, I mean all round sparring. We dedicate one day for striking into takedowns until submission, and the other two days are working on throws and subs, but always with takedowns into subs sparring at the end.

In a continuous fight. Really enjoying it Tongue The throws can take their toll though.

i tore my groin squating 4 weeks ago, i can do certian things but others i cant. like deadlift squat and push press. i am using the gym machines more. i think it will take another 3-4 weeks before i am fully recovered. shame as the British BJJ open is in 2 weeks.

while since i logged, havent really done much lifting at all as ive had 2 half sleeves done which have costed more and taken more time than i expected to heal etc.

got 1 session left on each arm which hopfully should do it then back to training.

BW around 103-105kgs but cut alot of sugar out of my diet so looking leaner.

As i am away on holiday for Kents strongest Man i am aiming to get ready for suffolks instead and dust off some of my kit at home.

here goes!!!
