Sound like you gave it a fair crack mate. The other bloke was clearly using his size a weapon to wear you down. What are the weight boundaries? Are you anywhere near the next band down?

next weight cat down is 100kgs with GI so 98kg BW. its a cut too far for me and its a hobbie not a job, to be fair the other 2 guys in my division were around 110kgs. There will always be a chance to come up against a monster just got to ride that wave.

Fair enough mate. Cutting 10kg is a serious ask anyway, I've done it before and won't be doing it again. Sounds like you had fun anyway which is what counts.

Only positive didn’t use elbow supports need to get the balance back with the dumbbell before I attempt the 53 inch strict.

I feel your pain on the 65 DB, so frustrating when its right there but you just can't do that last little bit. Don't worry mate you'll get it soon and it will be all the sweeter.
