another lover of conans wheel Member 1116, 2379 posts SQ 275, BP 210, DL 330 815.0 kgs @ 134kgs UnEq	the weights are light but no lighter than barnard castle or northumberlands n not much lighter than north east (110kg log) i think there are very few comps that are heavy n can be classed as "open standard" if i only do those i will never get experience n hardly compete. i actually think the light comps are any1's game. i competed at barnard castle and northumberlands n ended up a poor 4th at both, yet at uk north with heavy weights n the likes of col jones, wayne smith, liam o'sullivan n luke fulbrooke i came 2nd. at preston the weights will be well in every1's range so speed n fitness will play major part which is what let me down in my two 4th places. on paper at both shows i was the strongest there but counts for nothing when the weights are light enough for every1.

I AGREE PAL!! If these comps dont have the strongest guys in!! it shouldnt be called strongest man!!! ha ha ! look forward to it if i get rid of this back injury !
