Going to have a 4 week sabbatical away from heavy pressing and power training whilst my shoulder continues to heal. It felt fine today with the NG pressing but it was twinged taking the bar out hence why I havent gone heavier than 100kg and I'll be limiting myself to 100kg on any oly bar pressing for this 4 week period

BBBBOOOOOOMMMMMMM Now this is my kind of session LOL Cool

That twinge is a nightmare always happens when you least expect it, that's a ton of reps though and 100kg for high reps will still work the muscles hard.

I'm not after over repping on anything currently and also staying away from any oly bar benching/OH pressing for the next 4 weeks to allow my shoulder injury to sort itself!

Plus I'm never that bored! Grin

Thurs 20th March 2014

Didnt do back/chest. Arms still killing me (I've ended up taking ibuprofen to see if that'll help lol)

Legs:

Anderson squats (bar set at 2/3 my height in the power-cube):

30 x bar
20 x 70kg
10 x 120kg
10 x 170kg
10 x 170kg
10 x 220kg
5 x 250kg
5 x 240kg
5 x 250kg
5 x 260kg
5 x 270kg
5 x 280kg (belt on)

Leg Press:

8 x 15 with 200kg (20secs rest between sets). Nearly yacked with these lol

Leg Extensions:

6 x 15 with 125lbs

Shoulders:

Tried the seated shoulder press machine but I think any unusual angle presses are out currently so left them be (had a bash with 80kg and it really hurt)

Seated smith machine presses (flat bench, no back support):

20 x frame
20 x frame + 10kg
15 x frame + 20kg
15 x frame + 30kg

Seated dumbbell lateral raises super-setted with seated dumbbell front raises:

5 x 10 x 30lbs - 10 x 30lbs
