Light but hard leg session...

Hack squat machine:

20 x frame
20 x frame + 30kg
15 x frame + 60kg
10 x frame + 60kg

Leg press:

8 x 12 at 200kg (30secs rest between sets)

Leg extensions:

20 x 50kg
4 x 12 at 50kg

SLDL's:

6 x 10 at 100kg (to just under knees as can't get any lower without niggling my back)

Some preacher curls and dumbbell hammer curls to finish with

Wobbling like a good'un now haha Grin

Yep...

If I can't go heavy for a good 4-6 weeks to let this ligament sort itself I might as well get the reps up and overall volume...

I'll be creeping the weight up but not anything stupid Grin

4 x 5 @ 180kg (all very slow reps & paused)

Cable crossovers:

4 x 15 @ 30kg

Incline dumbbell press:

10 x 40kg
8 x 45kg
8 x 50kg

Floor-presses:

8 x 100kg
8 x 120kg
4 x 140kg
4 x 150kg (really hard set)

Triceps:

Cable push-downs:

20 x 30kg
15 x 40kg
10 x 50kg

Reverse grip pull-downs:

5 x 20 @ 30kg (absolutely blown)

Pull-ups (straight grip - 90deg's to main bar):

5 x 5 @ body-weight (currently 133kg)

lol im feeling it today everywere, good luck with the shoulders especially after pressing yesterday iv got to try and deadlift not looking forward to it.

Back:

30 x body-weight pull ups (as many wide-grip as possible (only got 8) then the rest using the 90deg bars (body weight 133kg still)

Hammer rows:

20 x 80kg
15 x 120kg
10 x 140kg
8 x 140kg

Seated rows (drop-set):

12 x 100kg
10 x 80kg
10 x 60kg
19 x 40kg (burnt out)

Shoulders:

Seated dumbbell presses:

20 x 20kg (plus 20 crucifix flys) - warm up
12 x 30kg
10 x 40kg
6 x 50kg
Had a go at the 55kg dumbbells but they're physically just too big to get balanced right and press Unhappy
6 x 50kg

Dumbbell lateral raises:

20 x 15kg
10 x 20kg
8 x 25kg

Seated smith-machine presses (weight on frame; no idea of weight of frame):

20 x 20kg
12 x 40kg
10 x 50kg
10 x 60kg
6 x 65kg

Very little & if I do it's SLDL's or light normal..

I damaged my hip in the past (trapped nerve) and it doesn't let me forget...

My days of heavy squats and deads are past unfortunately...

Addicted to pressing now Grin

lol become a pressing monster mate id love to do that but got a few goals I want to complete in strongman first.

Have you got an over head goal ?

I do miss the strongman days...

Did a bit of tyre flipping with a few lads at the gym yesterday. They couldn't understand why I was flipping their 300kg tyre one-handed Grin lol

Cos I can...!

Watching them do the stones was painful though... Juggling!

I'd like to strict 140kg overhead as soon as and push-press 160kg plus but I'd say its a while off yet whilst my foot & back sort themselves...

Decided that I'm not going to work to a routine from now up until Christmas and do what I feel like when I get to the gym.... Grin Just need a break really and a change as feel like liftings getting a little stale etc...

Clean & Strict presses:

Bar - LOTS to warm up

Cont. Clean & Push-presses:

2 x 120kg

Log Press:

10 x log (40kg)

6 x 80kg
4 x 100kg (strict)
2 x 110kg
2 x 115kg

300kg tyre-flips:

5 x 6 flips

Pull-ups (90 degree handles):

6 x 3 at body-weight (132kg)
