Sick of the injuries etc... Just want to try this new routine for a few months and drop some weight too... May never look back or may just drop back into my old ways...

Enjoyed today's session; enjoyed knocking out high reps on the dumbbells that most folk there just look at lol Grin

"The greatest feeling you can get in a gym or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is the pump. Let's say you train your biceps, blood is rushing in to your muscles and that's what we call the pump. Your muscles get a really tight feeling like your skin is going to explode any minute and its really tight and its like someone is blowing air into your muscle and it just blows up and it feels different, it feels fantastic. It's as satisfying to me as cumming is, you know, as in having sex with a woman and cumming. So can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Haha classic... It's so sad I more or less know that quote off by heart... It's THE film to watch before training lol...that & Svend Karlsens Viking training DVD Grin

But yes to answer your question; just back to body-building'esque style training for a few months to work around this shoulder/bicep injury but also to help shed a few stone and trim up etc...

Been fancying a change for a while so will hammer away at this and see how I get on Happy

Wouldn't mind adding a bit of size to my quads, shoulders and arms whilst I'm at it haha Cool

X 2 on the bodybuilding style training i think with adding a bit more muscle mass can help when you go back to strength training.

Are you going to keep logging your journal with the new routine ?

Yeah will be continuing the logging etc...

I'll still be lifting heavy where I can (compound movements etc...) but everything else around it will be for much higher reps and 'Ze pump...' Lol Grin
