Powerlifting Bar between £300 and £500

 Scotbasher - forever Member 59, 2115 posts | I bought 2 BOAR bars about 8 yrs ago for little money and they're still going strong, they've survived 400kg deadlifts 380kg squats and other than one of the ends being a bit stiffer to rotate they're fine. They were just made in an small engineering shop in the midlands in the 70s/80s, I can't see why it's so difficult to make a bar that meets the requirement. It's not going to be so much more money for the better steel although it might be more difficult to form good knurling on harder material. | ||

They are some of the finest bars i've ever used and the knurling is excellent and doesn't shred your hands like some bars. | ||

I know the guy who owns that site. obviously he is selling the bars but has rated them as equal to TBP without as sharp knurling. its psi is high too. I'm very tempted by one | ||
