Thanks Ian. Never managed any training last week as was really busy. Had a terrible session today although was a good laugh with Ser, Megan, Nik, Wullie, Ian & John.

Heard loads of bones cracking from my back and neck on the last one so just dropped it! Starting to stiffen up now..looks like I could be sore tommorrow! Unhappy


100kg Sand bag + 100Kg keg Medlay:

Blowing out my arse!Tongue And hurt my finger when setting the stuff up!

Stones(no tacky):

90kg to shoulder
110kg to lap, too slippy to shoulder.

Back/neck starting to get sore.

Was good banter today! Although didn'y really feel upto training but at least I got a little done.

I want to but I'm away that weekend with the family....but I'll still be 1.5hrs drive from Dumfries so it all depends if I can convince the family that it will be a good fun day, well the comp is being held at a Gala so plenty of stuff for the kids to do! Grin

All easy, was just going to do 5 on the last set also but my daughter was shouting ''YES COME ON DADDY'' on every rep so thought I'd do a few more for her haha.

Went down to Dumfries with Daniel for some events training.

Was hoping to use the ones to be used for SSM final but they weren't there so just used one that was in the gym. Felt awkward and heavy for some reason?

Car squat:

Messed about with the car squat frame for abit, nothing heavy. Daniel got a proper go with it once Stuart Murray arrived later.

Lapped the 160 on the last one but failed the load as it slipped down my t-shirt which pulled a muscle in my back. Angry


Car deadlift(fiesta van with front end on the frame):

Lifted it a few times but couldn't hold it long as was killing my finger that I hurt last week on the sand bag.

Then just helped load/re-set keg&sand bag medley for Daniel as I couldn't hold on to the the stuff due to my finger(i know a very stupid injury haha).
Thanks to Stuart and helpers(sorry forget there names) for a good enjoyable day!

Was using a weightlifting bar instead of the powerbar(rest of the guys were still squatting with it), it was s**t as it seemed to spin alot which I didn't like!


D/B O/H/P:

Then did some shoulder/bicep rehab stuff. Also got two 50kg plates that were going spare...I was knackered carrying them out to the car!

1st session in 2weeks, training at mine with John, Graeme, Martin & Damien in the pissing wet!

Ifsa log:

65x8

Overhead press medlay:

set 1:
100x1(bar)+ 90x1(8" log)+ 95x1(axel)+ 100x1(ifsa log)+ 45kg giant dumbell x1 + 69kg inch dumbell x fail.

set 2:
100x1(bar)+ 90x1(8" log)+ 95x1(axel)+ 100x1(ifsa log)+ 45kg giant dumbell x1 + 69kg inch dumbell x fail.

Weights were light but pissing it down so everything was slippy.

The others did max farmers but I had to leave it as my finger is still sore so just going to rest it as got a comp next sat.

Good banter and lots of fun despite the rain, called it short as we were all soaked through.
