I know you mean high rep squats. When I tried them I was getting better at them but my top end strength went down and my lower back was fried all the time, I don't recover very quick at all either and the higher reps made my recovery worse even though it was lighter weights. I am still doing short hill sprints when out walking my dogs and kettle bell stuff 2/3 times a week and will start doing some rowing machine stuff, I just don't log these things. Plus when we start training events for u105's there's a abit of running about to do, we'll start timing things also so we've got something to beat each session. Can't train at the weekend as I'm working. How about friday night at mine if it's not raining and if it is we can go to glencairn to use there log and I'll take my axel to do 15" deadlifts?

Yoke: 240x25m 240x25m Was ment to time them but forgot, 2nd set felt faster though. Decided to go back to the drawing board with training the yoke as I'm terrible at it. Plan is to keep it light and work on foot speed. Good laugh with Ian with lots of trash talk.

Flat bench: 20x20 70x10 110x5 110x5 110x5 Easy enough. Incline bench: 60x5 100x3 don't know what happened here, just had no energy. 80x8 C/G lat pull down: Full stack x10 Full stack x10 D/B strict o/h/p: 32's x8 32's x8 Then did some shoulder & bicep rehab stuff and stretching. Off to get some sand for my giant dumbell and for a sand bag.

Saying that I've got 2 comps next month so that will stop me training the u105 events. I might even get some vids up. knows some really strong guys Member 323, 1436 posts SQ 305, BP 200, DL 285790.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | Bit rushed for time today so thought I'd at least get something done at mine. 15" axel eq. deadlift: 75x5 125x5 205x3 (belt on) 245x3 (straps up) 245x3 245x3 Thought I'd try the suit with these as it's a really bad height for me, made a little difference I suppose so will just need to perserver. Lower back pumped to hell as it seems to be all back!

embarrasingly poor bench Member 2684, 4043 posts SQ 240, BP 135, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | I feel your pain mate, I also find 15" a horrible height to pull from and even worse when it's the Axle, don't find I get anything from the suit though. Strong pulling bud.

Has a long back. Member 2322, 2464 posts SQ 260, BP 175, DL 312.5747.5 kgs @ 105kgs UnEq | I had it in my head that 15" would be like the 18" pulls that seem to suit the shorter guys (like at COC the other week with the 500kg pull from Andy Gosling) . But so far i havent seen anyone say that they like the height !! Some good work recently , looking promising for the u105kg comp m8

Some good work recently , looking promising for the u105kg comp m8 I'd kind of hoped and assumed this would be the case too, I just think it's quite an awkward height for me as it's a little above mid shin where I'm weakest. Like Stephen says though, plenty of time to work on it between now and the comp.
