did some OHP today:

strict press

3w/ 60
3w/ 70
1w/ 80
3w/ 87.5...a default PR as i ahve never pressed this before, haha
9 doubles w/ 87.5.....nice and solid

will do PC and PS in a day or two

thanks for the kind words...it is slowly coming together....looking for a few more PRs by the year's end

6 triples w/ 67...very easy, and the tech is really starting to click now

PC

up to 5x4w/ 115......hard, but this is more to do with a lack of PC practice at the moment.....it should come soon enough

5x3w/ 72.....this is starting to have the feel of a weight i have to concentrate on to some degree...i think a good goal for the next 4-6 weeks will be to make a triples ( say 3-5 ) with 80-85kg and then to have a shot at 92kg

4x2w/ 75......this was a little harder than expected but not too bad.....i think this will fall in a week or two...gotta really remember to crank on the bar when i have my shoulders over the bar at the knee

strict press

up to 3x2 w/ 90....quite pleased with this as this is the very first time that i have ever pressed 90 kg/198 lbs for multiple multi rep sets in a single session

kind of a small session as i was a little sore from SQ a few days ago, and yesterday's exertions where i think i left every drop of bodily fluid in/on/around a delightful MILF i had the pleasure of meeting quite recently along with the mental trepidation that is accompanying me making my trans-atlantic move tomorrow......quite scared but looking forward to it

not sure when i am next gonna be in the gym/online...so for the moment, good bye folks....see ya later Happy

first session in the US of A

found a new gym, Armbrust Gym, where Phil Heath trains.....the current Mr. Olympia?!?!?!? not to mention, there is SM stuff, TWO lifting platforms, some really good bars, lots of plates, some quality machines and some really heavy DBs......happy days!

anyway,

i did the following:

PSN

5w/ 50
3w/ 60
3w/ 65
3w/ 70
1w/ 75
miss 77
1w/ 77
miss 77
5 x 3 w/ 70...some of these were SQSN......tech was a bit off today....dunno why, just the way it is...will try to hit some more PSN in a few days

PC

up to 5 triples w/ 117......the last rep on the last set was a SQC

PS

5 or triples w/ 70 - 72...........the first two reps were PSN and the last one was a SQSN.........

will keep on really trying to hit a triple w/ 77....this should come soon enough

will do some strict press and SQ on Sun

as an aside, everything apart from the OL stuff will be reported in lbs from now on....I haven't suddenly become one of the world's pressers

2w/ 205.....this is a 7lb PR for 2 reps and the first time I have ever pressed more than 200lbs for more than a single rep.....so I am quite pleased with this!

5x2w/ 100kg (?)......i think the bar weighs about 20kg.......i started doing these as my grip is in fact a bit crappy and it needs work before I start Judo....not sure how i will progress but i think i'll add weight and see what happens Happy

5x3w/ 120....really pleased by this.....will work up a bit in this set and rep range...jerked the last rep on the last set...and it was very easy.....should be working up on this in the next few months

GHR
5x5w/BW...will work up both volume and weight on this exercise...will be curious to see how this affects my pulls and SQ.

3w/ 210....these were push presses and very easy....just couldn't strict press this on this day

5x3w/ 185.....will work this to 3x5
6x3w/ 160...very easy...will work this up to 3x6

will SQ tomorrow...thinking 420x6x6 would be rather pleasing!
