Walking SSB lunge
30kg (bar) x about 25 lunges
70kg x3 x16 lunges

SSB squats
110kg x3 x8

Farmers walk (2" handles)
50kg x40m fast
90kg x40m (drop at 20, then at 30)

The lunges were HARD and my upper inner hams were cramping up when squatting. Good honest hard work in the sun!

Shoulder rehab

Some stuff for rehab followed by
Dbell snatches upto 45kg for 3 (left arm)
Dbell presses up to 40kg for 2 (left arm)


Right shoulder still playing up, hence the above.

Been VERY sore all weekend and today after fridays lunges.

First good 'in gym' session for a while, felt pretty strong today.
Didn't get farmers walk done, so hopefully will do farmers and arm over arm sled, and maybe tyre flipping on tuesday. Sunday will be axle clean and press and sandbag loading at Exertrain hopefully.

50kg x5 strict, 3pp, 3pj

Log press
68kg x5 strict

88kg xf (rubbish!)
68kg x10 clean and press (1 motion)

Tyre flip (earth mover tyres)
250kg x4
300kg - about 5 or six fails followed by 5 flips (2 singles, a double, and a single), another 5 fails (knackered)

the 300kg tyre felt so much harder than the 250, the 250 tyre felt a bit easier than the (tractor)tyre we have at Ironman.

Cheers mate. The push pressing felt good. I would have gone heavier but I couldn't powerclean any more on the axle and forgot my belt to conti clean. Tried it without belt but it was a no go. The one motions felt good, but I was pissed off I couldn't even push press 88kg. It was only a 10" log, (World of Strength)

Very hard today in the heat. 185kg squat nearly killed me, I was hoping to have a bigger 1RM by now, but my head nearly exploded as my blood pressure increased. Even the farmers pickups felt hard.
