Saw your post about deadlift tips, my deadlift isn't great and I always struggle breaking plateaus. I usually do one big set so 200 for 5 and that's it but I have found doing a bit more volume to be more effective at times. Like 180 for 3 sets of 5. Probably squatting everyday dosnt help me either. | ||

Hi SD. Cheers I think, without wanting to make excuses, my age is coming into play. Deadlift used to be my best and favourite lift. Although I only ever managed 240, that was nearly 10 years ago and 15kg extra body weight. I'm not sure I can recover from too much volume with squats and deadlifts these days. Was tinkering with the idea of doing multiple singles at 90+% rather than triples. | ||
