Member 174, 1292 posts	£100 to a charity of Sparrow's choice instead? No promise broken to your family then as it could be seen as an act of pure generosity and not related to a bet at all. Not ideal, as you haven't actually paid the man his money, but a compromise and after all, £100 is f**k all.
