so, to conclude:

There is no pressure on the front of the foot doing a full range of motion front squat

there is pressure on the foot doing an overhead press

Also,

There is no pressure on the foot on axle deads from blocks

There is pressure on the foot on normal deads.

Back of foot/easy weight = no pain. Front of foot/hard weight = pain. Doesnt take a genius to understand.

So why don't you use the same weight off the floor?

So why does 100kg front squat cause no difficulty whereas a 100kg strict press does?

Want to bet £500 on it or you gonna come up with a load of excuses as to why not?

Paul, it's my impression that everyone thinks (knows) that your foot's not causing an issue with strict pressing, just a heads up. If you can front squat 100kg, OH pressing should be 10x less strain on the foot.

I was under the impression you didn't gamble?

Never mind, if you can do it, why not just do it? Strikes me as odd that you'd need a £500 bet before you'd try.

Not a gamble when you know you'll win. Because am not risking my foot getting worse without something decent to gain.

I can close grip bench 100k for like 25-30 reps. Why would people assume i cant press it above my head?
