A question on the max log and DL.

If the 3 weights are chosen in advance, how long in advance do you want to know, also can we not give you our opening weight then go from there on the day?

I was thinking that. I was just trying to come up with a way to save time on the day. Ill see what happens

Yeah, can appreciate the time saving, just know that some people will have a great day and might want to do more on their 2nd/3rd lifts than what they had mentioned before Grin

Also it would mean that there isn't a known winner for each event (should everyone get all 3 lifts) in advance Grin

In my last comp i comfortably did my 3 attempts but wasnt allowed to try for more, which left me 2nd on the event,so thats why i added the last man standing element to it to seperate the higher lifting guys to make it fairer. Ill prob just work up in 5 or 10 kg and u can lift as many times as u want until u fail a lift?

Maybe 100 110 120 130 135 140 145 etc as people prob wont lift more than 3 or 4 times at most if u were in the top end of the event as u wouldnt want to waste energy

?

Not sure myself, it's a good heavy day so the 3 lift thing works in favour of saving energy. This is a good thing Grin Just gotta work out how best to manage the weights

just a quick vid to show you the dumbells which will be used in the competition. You'll notice i dont press the 2nd one, because i cant at the mo! lol. Still havent got exact weights but ive push pressed 140 and they feel pretty heavy to me!
