I'm wanting to invest a new set of knee and elbow sleeves. Currently use the strength shop Thor knee sleeves but don't own a pair of elbow sleeves. I'm looking to get them for strongman primarily.

I've narrowed it down to either the SBD, rehband powerline of the strength shop Odin (triple ply) sets. Just wondered if anyone had experience with any of them and whether they thought one was better than the other. Cheers

SBD are IPF legal so I doubt you'll really get anything out of them in terms of poundage.

I've not used Odin sleeves but they're triple-ply so you should get the most out of them, I have seen some comps not allowing the use of triple-ply sleeves though.

Rehband powerline seem pretty popular with WSM competitors, expensive as s**t though.

It depends what you are looking for really. I have strengthshop thors and Rehband powerlines. I personally don't like the Odin triple plys, I think they are too tight and restrictive especially for repping. I really like the Rehbands, yes they are expensive but in my opinion worth it. You won't get much extra from them like you do the Thors, but for injury prevention and to give warmth they are perfect and should last as long as you want them to.

I love my Odins, but as has been stated some comps wont allow them, so it may be worth sticking with Thors or the Rehband powerlines if you are looking to compete in strongman.

I currently use SBD knee sleeves & rehband elbow sleeves. In all fairness I think the sbd's give you a bit of pop out of the hole. Nothing in comparison with knee wraps etc. when I squat without them I feel a bit weaker. Depending on what you're looking for extra support go with the sbd's for less support but still a fair knee sleeve go with rehbands. I have absolutely no experience with the odin's. Good luck choosing.

Nice one for getting back to me guys. I did want more than just warmth from them. I do compete so they would be used in that as I don't like knee wraps so that would be annoying about the Odins ... I'll have a think.

Any other knee/elbow sleeves that you guys would recommend?

I've always liked single ply elbow sleeves for pressing - they're easy to get on and off by yourself and seem to give good rebound.
