Weigh-in will be available from 9am ..

Event 1 - Deadlift

Powerlifting style deadlift competition - 3 attempts, suits allowed, No straps/sumo ... complete change to last year . 1 failure and your out

Event 2 - Yoke ..Head 2 Head

270kg/200kg.

30 metre course drop and turn on 15 metres - Fastest time wins - 75 second time limit..

Weights choice - All attempts at 270kg beat attempts at 200kg however you have to walk the 270kg yoke option 10 metres for it to be a successful attempt..There will be a RED line on the floor and even if you miss by one inch you`ll score ZERO.

Event 3 - Conans

260kg/180kg.

as many turns as possible - One drop and your attempt is over.. NO Time Limit

Weights choice - All attempts at 260kg beat attempts at 180kg however you have to walk the 260kg conan option a half turn for it to be a successful attempt..There will be a RED line on the floor and even if you miss by one inch you`ll score ZERO.

Event 4 - Overhead ..Head 2 Head

105kg/75kg.

As many FULL reps as possible in the 75 second time limit..

Weights choice - All attempts at 105kg beat attempts at 75kg however if you No rep either Log you will score ZERO points.

Event 5 - Farmers Walk for distance ..Head 2 Head

120kg/90kg.

Take farmers as far as possible in one attempt turning around a cone at 15 metres. One drop and your out - NO Time Limit

Weights choice - All attempts at 120kg beat attempts at 90kg however you have to walk the 120kg farmers option 10 metres for it to be a successful attempt..There will be a RED line on the floor and even if you miss by one inch you`ll score ZERO.

Event 6 - Stones ..Head 2 Head

100kg - 52", 110kg - 48", 120kg - 48", 135kg - 48", 160kg - 40".

Load stones as fast as possible - 75 Second time limit - if anybody loads the 160kg stone they get an extra 3 points added to they`re overall total

So 29 Monster u90kg Strongmen .. This one will be a real battle !

Got a young lady also who is going to do a few log lifts and a few light stones too .. Anything to encourage people .. If anybody knows of any Newcomer Ladies who would like to maybe try a 62kg Log for reps and 73kg Stone for reps then let me know and we`ll get them involved somehow..

RULES BY TONY (head referee):

Event 1 - Deadlift

Powerlifting style deadlift competition - 3 attempts, suits allowed, No straps/sumo ... complete change to last year . 1 failure and your out

Athlete will approach and will then be asked if they are ready, on confirmation the command "lift" will be given. Athlete must lift the bar from floor to full lockout and await the command "down" from the referee. Hands must remain on the bar during its descent.

On successful completion of lift athlete must give the weight of next attempt to referee.

Event 2 - Yoke ..Head 2 Head

270kg/200kg.

30 metre course drop and turn on 15 metres - Fastest time wins - 75 second time limit..

Athlete will postion themselves under yoke. When they are comfortable they will be given the lift command and the clock will start. Athlete will recieve audible command from the referee when they have broken the 15m line. They must then turn and return the whole yoke over the finishing line. Again an audible signal will be given when they have achieved this.

Weights choice - All attempts at 270kg beat attempts at 200kg however you have to walk the 270kg yoke option 10 metres for it to be a successful attempt..There will be a RED line on the floor and even if you miss by one inch you`ll score ZERO.

Event 3 - Conans

260kg/180kg.

Athlete will approach the bar and take their position under it. When athlete is in position referee will ask if competitor is ready. On receiving confirmation they will recieve the lift command. There will be a 1m safety zone at the start of the conans. If you drop the apparatus within this first 1m you may pick it up one more time and proceed to turn the apparatus.

Weights choice - All attempts at 260kg beat attempts at 180kg however you have to walk the 260kg conan option a half turn for it to be a successful attempt..There will be a RED line on the floor and even if you miss by one inch you`ll score ZERO.

Event 4 - Overhead ..Head 2 Head

Athlete will take up position with hands on log, again they will be asked if ready and once confirmation is recieved a "lift" command will be given and time started. Athlete then presses, jerks, one motions, snatches(if they're nuts) to lockout overhead. Elbows must be locked, head through, feet somewhere in line and log under full control. There will then be a "down" signal at which point the athlete must return the log to the ground under control. Athlete can then proceed to clean and press next rep. Just touching and going onto the tyres is OK.

Pressing off the head, not waiting for the down command or throwing the logs about will result in a no lift.

Weights choice - All attempts at 105kg beat attempts at 75kg however if you No rep either Log you will score ZERO points.

Event 5 - Farmers Walk for distance ..Head 2 Head

120kg/90kg.

Take farmers as far as possible in one attempt turning around a cone at 15 metres. One drop and your out - NO Time Limit

Athlete will approach equipment and position implements to their satisfaction behind the line. They will then be asked if ready at which point they may take their grip. When the referee recieves confirmation of the athlete being ready they will lift/start on the command. Farmers must be carried full length of course and turned around a cone.

Weights choice - All attempts at 120kg beat attempts at 90kg however you have to walk the 120kg farmers option 10 metres for it to be a successful attempt..There will be a RED line on the floor and even if you miss by one inch you`ll score ZERO.

Event 6 - Stones ..Head 2 Head

100kg - 52", 110kg - 48", 120kg - 48", 135kg - 48", 160kg - 40".

Load stones as fast as possible - 75 Second time limit - if anybody loads the 160kg stone they get an extra 3 points added to they`re overall total.

Athletes will approach starting position and be asked if ready. Once both confirm the lift command will be given and time will start. Athletes must place stones on descending platforms, if a stone falls off a platform the athlete must replace it. Fastest time for 5 stones wins, with time for last completed stone being taken if you fail to complete them all.

Use of tacky is allowed.

I am but I've heard today my final panel interview for the rozzers will be in a few weeks so I don't want to commit and drop out

I'm just planning in my head if I'll be able to hit a 110 log by then
