Thanks Malc and Phil

Sunday

Fronties today. These felt a lot more comfortable than last week. I started on a comfortable weight and just kept going until I topped out.

When I was rowing, one of the girl personal trainers said to me 'nice to see someone going for techique rather than weight.' Although she didn't intend it, I was very hurt.

Front squats

Warm ups
70 X 5
100 X 3
120 X 2
130 X 2
135 x 2
140 x 2
145 x 2
150 x 2

Bent over rows, apparently with perfect technique

70 X 8
90 X 7
95 X 7
100 X 6
100 X 6

Seated invcline DB curls, in front of the mirror

20s X 8
20s X 5
20s X 6

I'm gradually working up to doing them in front of the mirror, naked and with an erection.

Thanks gents.

Tuesday

Mixed performance today. I was going to do doubles on deadlifts, but the grip didn't seem to be there, and after that, the strength. However 180 X 7 isn't bad for me.

Some improvement on bench, but it feels like a long haul.

Deadlifts

70 X 5
70 X 5
120 X 3
150 X 3
170 X 2
180 X 1
190 X 1
200 X 1
205 X 1
210 X 1
215 X 1
220 X 1
225 X 1
180 X 7

Bench Press

70 X 5
70 X 3
100 X 4
120 X 2
130 X 1
140 X 2
140 x 2
140 X 2
140 X 2
130 X 4

Thursday

It was as muggy as Malcolm Muggeridge in Mugdock today. Unpleasant.

Squats felt comfortable as far as the weight went (as it should be using 160 kg). I was still f**ked when I finished, though not literally. Progress continues.

I may go on creatine, which is something I respond to well.

Squats

70 X 5
70 X 4
120 X 2
150 X 1
160 X 5
160 X 5
160 X 5

Pulldowns

70 X 5
80 X 6
85 X 6
90 X 5
95 X 5

Curls in squat rack, not looking in mirror, but wearing rouge and a coconut matting skirt.

52.5 X 6
52.5 X 6
52.5 X 5

Saturday 21/5/10

Good, tough session today. The final set of front squats was very tough, and my legs were all over the place on the third rep.

Push press felt a lot better than last time, though obviously still some distance off my PB. It seems to set me up well for front squats, possibly because it pumps my front delts (if I can say that on here), and the bar sits better in the groove.

Close grips were a bit of a feeble weight, but akk I could manage today.

Push press

70 X 5
70 X 5
80 X 4
90 X 3
95 x 3
95 X 3
100 X 2
100 X 2

Front squats

70 X 5
70 X 5
100 X 4
120 X 4
130 X 3
135 X 3
140 X 3
145 X 3

Close grip bench press

Warm ups
100 X 8
100 x 8
100 X 6

Forgot to post this up yesterday.
