Obviously not as clean of a lift as you would like for the WR, but it went down and up.

Kirill is back training now to take it back.

Yep..was acting like he had ADHD. Overly excited in a dangerous situation.

I couldn't believe it. Cheer AFTER the bar is back in the rack. If I was him I'd never spot at a comp again through sheer embarrassment.

From what we can see the lift looked alright to me but the video its self was tedious. No way of skipping to the action and if you click on another tab while its playing it takes it back to the beginning again. I don't want to see the guy walking around in a different room before watching the lift. Took me 2 days and 3 attempts to actually get to the bit of the video where he benches it, and then it cuts out before the lift is technically complete.

Obviously a very impressive number though, well done to the guy.

He locked it for a millisecond then left elbow gave way, if he got the rack command in that millisecond it should be a good lift.

If I were the lifter I would be embarrassed to claim as a legit lift sure the guy will get it legit sooner or later.

I can't face watching the whole video again but I will take your word for it!

Looks like Eddie is training for a big bench press. Nice bit of swapping around with sports from powerlifters and strongmen at the moment.

Probably doing it for the "likes". Although, I don't think many will dispute that at his strongest he wasn't that far away from it. I just think he'd need to get back to somewhere near his heaviest to do it again.

I reckon he weighs similar to when he pulled 500kg. Seems to be getting up to 180kg again.

Nah he was 196 for the 500. He's around 170 at the moment so has some room. I thought he was keeping weight down for his health and acting roles though?...

Squatting isn't doing my back any good.

As well as getting back to near his heaviest, I was thinking that he would likely also need to be squatting big again (I know there are bench only guys, but don’t think they really train bench only) just to get his full body strength back up and not sure whether he’s really up for that.
