do you have any tips for me? im new to the gym, im just learning how to deadlift at the minute. i think once i learn the proper technique i should lift some decent weights.

you get helped in your bench press by your bench shirt, your shirt or suit just creates an illusion that your lifting the weight yourself.

Ha ha that comeback was a weak as your press was, you really need to do better than that (on both counts Wink )

i thought we was talking about the deadlift? there is a overhead medley on the day too. ill move the 70kg dumbell aside before your run for you if you like as we both know you wont be attempting that one

62kg 5 reps
82kg 5 reps
102kg 3 reps

log clean and push press from shoulder

112kg 5 reps


40 degree incline bench log press

62kg 8 reps
82kg 8 reps
102kg 6 reps
132kg 1 rep

close grip bench press

100kg 6 reps
140kg 6 reps, shoulder started to hurt after this set
160kg failed, had a rep or two, but just dropped with bad shoulder

farmers walk

70kg 30 metres
110kg 30 metres
110kg 10 metres then a turn and then 10 metres back
110kg 10 metres then a turn and then 10 metres back
110kg 10 metres beltless, then a 20 second hold at end of it

axle grip holds

72kg 20 seconds
112kg 20 seconds
152kg 20 seconds
172kg failed a few times
162kg was about an inch away from top of movement and dropped it, moved it a few more times but failed them all
