squat

raw 60- 10 reps
raw 100- 5 reps
raw 140- 5 reps
raw 180- 5 reps
belt & knee wraps 225- 4 reps

hip was sore from sunday which effected my squat, 225 didnt even feel heavy

single legged leg press

120kg 6 reps per leg x 4 sets

squats, glutes to heels

raw 100kg 8 reps x 3 sets

2 handed pinch grip holds

63.5kg 30 seconds x 3 sets

(another not so good workout)

lat pull down x 2 sets warm up 20 reps

strict one arm row, hand on knee, no bench

35kg- 8 reps
45kg- 8 reps
55kg- 8 reps
65kg- 6 reps
65kg 6 reps

strict bent over row

60kg- 8 reps
100kg- 1 reps, s**t!

strict lat pull down

100ish kg -8 reps
150ish kg -8 reps

dumbell shrugs

45kg - 8 reps
60kg- 8 reps
60kg- 8 reps

high pulls from below knees (first time ever done these)

60kg -8 reps
100kg-1reps, felt awkward
100kg- 2ish reps, technique must be wrong

single arm dumbell preacher curls

15kg -8 reps x 3 sets per arm

light stretches

haha i might do looking at your deadlift at whey, that was massive increase in short period! hows your training?


Not bad me olde fruit, thought I would get a decent DL at the meet. I don't believe in pulling heavy singles very often due to the effect on the central nervous system. My squat is still s**t though lol!

Just watched some of your vids, doesn't the 'big legs, big legs' get on your tits

you refering to chris lowe shouting lol? yeah it would be if i listened to him, but usually concentrating on what im doing. hes been out of training for 2 years due to dropping 200kg raw on his head on bench press at 19 natural. hes the strongest person ive ever met natural. ill post a video of him last week log pressing 110kg for 3 reps, first day back in training after 2 years and never log pressed before. been hard for chris his bench would of been the british record drug free at 19, he competed once but wasnt allowed a record as wasnt member long enough in federation. but hes coming back now and no doubt he'll soon catch up with me.

Thats crazy! You need to get him to pack in the body building shout outs though. Plenty of those type guys in my gym and the shout outs just drive me crazy. My favourite recent one was 'Common biscuits, lets go disco' while doing bicep curls!

hes good lad, strong as f**k. wouldnt surprise me if over took me on log pressing very soon. dunno why he saying crazy things, he still seems very nervous back in gym. he was passing out regulary for a year and headaches, etc. proper knocked his confidence

3 minute bike warm up
2 x sets hyper extensions and obliques

deadlift

raw 100kg- 5 reps
raw 140kg- 5 reps
raw 180kg- 3 reps
belt 220kg- 3 reps
belt 260kg- 3 reps
belt 280kg- 1 rep
belt and straps 300kg- fail

bench press

raw 100kg- 5 reps
raw 140kg- 5 reps
wrist straps 180kg- 1 rep, no one strong enough to spot so couldnt rep any more.

light stretches.

hip was hurting again after deadlifting!
