Has achieved nothing. Member 1386, 292 posts | baldy said: Soya cream is pretty awesome, had some with strawberries last night. I also drink 10+ litres of soya milk a week. No moobies and I haven't dropped dead yet. Diet wise, when I stopped consuming dairy about 7 years ago my sinuses cleared up loads. Without going into a vegan rant, dairy is one of the most stupid things to eat really. Soya milk for the win. LOL! Let us agree to disagree. I think vegans are some of the most hypocritical ba****** out there but we don't wanna go down that road do we?

I DO want this argument I consider myself to be a fairly logical chap, if the vegans on here can provide solid evidence that I shouldn't drink milk, and should drink soy, I have no silly philosophical connection to milk, I'll just change I mean based on my health, not that of cows

Unlikely I will do it over an internet forum. The best argument I could put from a health perspective , would be based on cholesterol. Cows milk contains cholesterol and soya milk reduces bad cholesterol levels [1]. Enter a cholesterol debate. 1. Anderson, J.; Johnstone, B.; Cook-Newell, M. (1995). The body makes something like 80% of its own cholestorol so saying cows milk contains it is a bit misdirectional(did I make that word up ) with regards to health.

I think you just need a sexy lady to convince you, rather than me. Studies still show drinking milk kills cows, chops down rainforest, makes people fat and miserable.

I thought there was a rather large amount of research that has shown that cholesterol does not cause heart disease and is actually beneficial

Thats why its enough for me to know that its perfectly healthy - if it happens to me more healthy than cows milk, then thats a bonus, but i am not after that. mallone, lets continue this discussion in person, really tiring to start namecalling on a forum with some random unknown guy...

However cows milke (diary) is a great source of nutrition and which is thev reason why some human populations have adapted well to consume it. Off course if it an ethical decsion then fair play to you. Just don't go back and re-write the reason as a nutritional one. Neither is soy evil.
