If I had competed I would contact them especially since you got a record.
I can't believe that some of you think this is fine. Would it be fine to pass a high squat just because the lifter could have went lower?
I won't post again about the subject and I did say I wasn't having a dig at Marc.
Will be good to watch you progress in the equipment.

Agreed! it is not a dig at Marc but the officials should adhere to all the rules and not a select few this includes the standard of refereeing and of course the weigh in itself, Stephen's point is perfectly relevent and valid as he rightly points out records can only be set within a authenticated weight class!

Bench

80kg x 5
100kg x 3
120kg x 3
140kg x 1
150kg x 1
160kg x 1

Shirt On

180kg x 2 (first one miles off, 2nd half way down)
200kg x 1 (about 6 inches from touching)
210kg x 1 (about 3 inches from touching)
220kg x 0 (nearly touched)

Shirt Off

140kg x 5
100kg x 15

The bench shirt is a weird thing was pulling all of my reps too far down the chest and not hitting the bubble right. Plenty of room for work on this, and my triceps have loads of marks on them to boot.

Probably better to start benching to high boards working down the ways over the next feww weeks until you can touch with something you can press out.

What sort of shirt is it? saw that you arched so assume it must either be an F6 or a katanna? these will make you touch low and best to tuck the elbows in however the katanna is very unforgiving compared to the F6......

Should be a great battle between yourself, Marc and Stuart Critchton on bench press at the seniors, looking forward to seeing it!

Aye should be good fun, too early to tell how things will go but I'm sure we'll all push eachother. Are you up for this bench off Marc, I'm sure stuart will be? Maybe each put £5 in to pay the winners entry fee?

Does the pope oversee an international rape conspiracy against altar boys?

5 quid to the 100kg man with the biggest bench!

Back Squat

bar x 5
60kg x 3
100kg x 3
140kg x 2
180kg x 1
210kg x 1 (wraps and belt)

235kg x 1 (wraps and belt +5kg PB)
200kg x 1 (wraps and belt/ripped my trousers)

*first one went down to depth with about 3/4 the pace of my unequipped squat next one went down full boar fell forward on my feet and lost the bar forward over my head was on a platform so I ended up getting smashed in the back of the head with 220kg.

Finished my session but went to get my head looked at since it was swelling up, ended up being nothing my neck is currently siezed up and my hip flexor is giving me hella jip. f**king equipment.
