Hey up my father in law has offered to help me make some strongman kit for training at home. I would like to try and make a log first metal would be most practical i think would also like to make farmers, yoke etc in time.
Just want to make light kit which i can add plates to as ive not done much strongman and its for fun and to see if i can possibly get to level where i could compete at beginners level.
any help appreciatedHappy

Your powerlifting numbers suggest to me that you just about have enough brute strength for novice level strongman. Training with strongman kit would be very beneficial if your aim is to compete.
