I concur lol.
Also scruff, just seen your numbers... must of skimmed past them previous. Take a bow!

Im one of those dirty horrible equiped lifters those numbers are all in single ply at 125kg body weight.
Although my raw numbers in deadlift and bench are catching up my geared numbers.

I've put near 300kg on my deadlift since I started lifting / went from 35kg max bench to 100kg x 54 reps. These are not on a Smith machine or reverse band but smith machines and reverse bands are used by the likes of zydrunas savickas and Brian Shaw.

I'm obviously a bit out of the loop. But people of Sugden, I implore you, what the f**k is this?

Initial deadlift max of negative20kg, what's your point?

Well yes it's still not a lot but I did 280 when I could only do 260 x 2 18" and since did 280 x 10 18" and now 262 x 8 15" on an axle which is harder for me. It would be at least 50kg more than 280 now I just have not done it because I'm weaker for height and all you guys are stronger for height. I always work on weakest lifts.

So, at this moment in time you think you would dead lift a minimum of 330kg?

Depends on which bands are attached I would imagine.

It would have to be, 15" is terrible height for me and with an axle it's a good 10-15kg harder so looking at 275kg x 8 15" normal bar strength in last phase which is a calculated max of 344kg so some singles training to get good at maxing and yeah 330 is least I could see it being.

That's fine, but your max deadlift is 280.

and that's the point, until you take a max of the floor, paul you're just guessing. - 15" partials and axels and whatever may address a weakness initially.. and is it a weakness? if you're weak off the floor, 260 x 2 off 15" sounds 'about right' for a 280 pull. getting strong at 15" won't fix weak back/quads from a full range pull.

I have 4 inch blocks. How much more should I be able to pull for a max single? I think I'd be lucky to get 20-30kg more.

I understand everyone is different, but would be curious to see the difference some of you guys have from varying heights!
