Not much to note going into this - I had a good weekend and was looking forward to the session!

Benching is feeling solid at the moment and I feel like my technique is finally nailed down - I just need to keep plugging away and putting the graft in now!

Well pissed off about today bud but fear if I leave the estate I won't be able to get car back onto it lol, its that bad.

lol i know i know, felt a let down tbh and squats at home were s**t, your garage adds 20kg...and if u had a monolift.....

then this morning....all bloody metled and gone....Roll-Eyes

your looking well and strong mate. Have you ever cosidered trying to get a bit heavier imagine what you would lift at that way.

Wednesday 13th February 2013 - Squats, Deadlifts @ Middlewood

Had Jonny and mark training in the garage tonight and Mark was taking far too much room up with his gimp gear!

Everything was a little bit Rum this week as I decided to wear some experimental orthotics (shoe inserts for the uneducated Happy ) - The results were me being like Bambi on ICE - I stumbled over 3 times just warming up and the top sets were a little more challenging than they should have been...

Deadlifting was done and dusted in 15 minutes flat so most of the sets were rough as I was gassed!

However, graft was put in when it might not otherwise been Grin


Squats - Beltless up to 180kg

  • 20kg x 10
  • 20kg x 10
  • 60kg x 10
  • 60kg x 10
  • 80kg x 5
  • 100kg x 5
  • 130kg x 3
  • 150kg x 2
  • 170kg x 1
  • 205kg x 1

  • 222.5kg x 3

  • 160kg x 3 - Speed Reps

      As I've already said, squats were a bit rough tonight and I had to muscle most of them up.
      Next week will be better!

Deadlifts

From the floor - Beltless up to 185kg
  • 60kg x 10 (DOH)
  • 100kg x 5 (DOH )
  • 140kg x 3 (DOH )

  • 170kg x 5 (Hook Grip)
  • 180kg x 5 (Hook Grip)
  • 190kg x 5 (Hook Grip)
  • 200kg x 3 (Hook Grip)

  • 145kg x 3 (Speed Work)

      All the deadlifting was done inside 15 minutes and as a result it was pretty crap Grin

    Also did some DOH shrugs for grip and a spot of calf work



I've had far better sessions, but I can't complain too much about this one as it's my own fault that it wasn't all it could be - I should know better than to change my orthocitcs right before a squat session Roll-Eyes
