tabbouleh and fattoush salads were very refreshing Member 267, 8548 posts SQ 220, BP 165, DL 250635.0 kgs @ 90kgs Eq | Right! Had a day off work today. So did the wife. So instead of putting my feet up, spending hours on sugdenbarbell and watching bad daytime telly, I got dragged into central London to do f'ing Christmas shopping. Now, I live in Oxford. Getting into central bits of London takes about 2 hrs door to door, add to that train delays and I've spent about 5 hrs sat on public transport today...on MY DAY OFF! The rest of the day was spent trapsing around Knightsbridge, Covent Garden, Chelsea and other such wanky places looking for presents for her 3 brothers. 13 hrs after leaving my front door, I'm back again. My feet hurt, my back aches and I'm pissed off. The only thing keeping me from constantly scowling is the can of (4%) Stella in my hand as I type. Basically what I'm trying to ask is how do you married lads lay the law down at home? She more or less earns what I do so I can't use the old 'I won't buy you nice stuff unless you do what I say' thing. ![]()

Man shopping has to be planned like a military operation. Decide what you want and which shop sells it, research the closest parking to said shop then get in and out in the shortest possible time. Women are simply not capable of such precision shopping.

![]() Still mostly bodybuilding Member 501, 10465 posts SQ 220, BP 150, DL 250620.0 kgs @ 94kgs UnEq | After being together nearly 5 years my girlfriend now knows better than to ask me to go food shopping, clothes shopping or indeed christmas shopping because within miniutes of being there im ready for going home. There are the odd occasions where i will go to the trafford centre with her but we make a day of it with a bit of shopping, lunch, bit more shopping then a meal and cinema so i can manage that. My girlfriend supports my training and comes to watch comps so its fair that i do things that intrest her from time to time.

![]() please use accurate taxonomy in our communication Member 871, 469 posts SQ 240, BP 137.5, DL 262.5640.0 kgs @ 89kgs Eq | 1. Insist that she go alone. It's in everybody's interest. Behaving abominably on a few shopping trips should quickly facilitate this. It will be easier if you can suggest friends (preferably hers!) to accompany her. 2. Complete all shopping via the Internet. 3. Be happy that you don't have kids. You at least have the chance of facing these tribulations with the benefit of a few hours of sleep.
