Random 80kg sandbag to shoulder

Pleased with todays session,didnt go balls out on the squats,had a fair bit of gas left in the tank but called it a day with a 2 rep pb,yoke felt ok,think its just a case of getting used 2 it,want 220 for 20metres in the next month or so

Tuesday Training



Had 3 days off from friday as Ive been having trouble with strain in my upper back,felt nice and fresh today so was expecting a good session

Tryed a few event type things outside and my back just wasnt having any of it Unhappy

Bench press

bar x20
60kg x5
90kg x5
90kg x5

100kg x5 PB
100kg x3
100kg x3

60kg x15


Bench is the only thing I can do that doesnt agrevate my back Angry


finished off with:

6 sets of pull ups
3 sets of dips
4 sets very light seated rows


right side of my upper back is as solid as a rock now,going to book in to see a physio and see what the problem is and scrap any movements that cause any pain for the next 2-3 weeks and see if theres any improvement,just hope i dont loose to much strength as ive been doing wel with deadlifts recently Unhappy

Strict press(Barbell)

Lengthy warm up to test how scapula was

Really pleased I was able to do these today,thought little injury would stop it but I felt no pain whilst doing them Grin set myself a target of an 85kg strict press in the next 6 weeks

Wanted to do some log today but I cant do any pulling from the floor for about 4 weeks,will just train around it and try keep my triceps strong

Not a bad session,paid in and got my name in for the Dragons comp,really looking forward to it,gonna get some rest in for my back next week and see where I go from there!
