Training at Gym1

Just worked on technique with my push pressing. Trying to push more through my heels. Did 5 sets of 4 on 80kg.

Still getting the pain in my bicep on both elbow joints which got so bad today that i had to cut the session short.

I did some squatting today, felt alot more comfortable using the shoes. Can't wait to see how much they help you. I didn't realise your squatting was this strong Happy

Got my shoes through on Saturday, so il see how the squating goes on Thursday. Starting to enjoy squating now but im still not 100% confident, hopefully a new PB on comp day. Also, get a training log going!

First time training in oly shoes. Tried being more explosive on the push press using my legs more. May try sets of 3 on 105kg next week.

Tuesday 15th November

Deadlift
70kg x 8

250kg x 3 - 3rd rep was hitched
250kg x 1 - wanted 2 reps but got it all wrong, didnt risk trying to force it
190kg x 8

Happy with todays training. Tried rolling the bar into me on the second set of 250kg which didnt work as the bar was out of position so dropped it from knee height to avoid injurying myself using bad technique.

Rubbish workout today. First time squating in oly shoes and seemed to lean forward more then usual putting alot of pressure on my lower back so dropped down to work on form on the lower weights.

The pain to my arms returned which made the last set hard and painfull. Tried some snatch's with the bar, think il try a bit more oly lifting more frequently now to mix up my training. Sure it will only have a positive effect on my overall strength.

Did some squats with really light weight to work on my technique and played about with using a different grip on the lighter presses.

Didnt have any pain in the arms after the pressing today, maybe due to the reduced reps? Happy with the PB though.
