Decided to start recording my training again as I haven't wrote down a single session since I stopped this. Maybe time for a new journal perhaps? Anyway, today's training;

Still training around my back injury, hopefully il start back deadlifting again in a few weeks. Managed to lose nearly 3 stone since England's strongest man comp so I'm currently about 126kg.

Had to train in the garage tonight, was really looking forward to it but didn't go to plan.

Happy with that tonight, really enjoying it and trained with big phill who pushed me on the bench. Confident I'm good for more then 180 on the bench now but il work up to it slowly with the reps and also want to hit 100 for 30 tng.

Sunday 17th November

Missed training on Saturday due to work so wanted to do something in the garage today.

Front squats

150kg x f - felt a sharp pain in my back as I was coming out of the hole so dropped it.

Back has been painful since so went and did some swimming and had a jacuzzi.

Watched to England's final coverage on tv this evening and its motivated me to get back there again next year. Decided I'm not training anything that might aggrevate the back until its better and I'm going to religiously do my stretching and core work everyday! Time to get back fit and lifting heavy!

Im seeing a physio who has given me a load of core work and stretching to be getting on with. It has been feeling better lately, its just my stupidity that caused yesterdays incident.

Its sore today but im going gym to bench later. Im stopping any squating and push pressing untill its sorted now, i want to be back training properly in the new year.
