Tricep push downs 90kg x 10 90kg x 10 90kg x 10 Going to hit bench every week now to try and get to the magic 200kg this year. I'm confident il get close but going to build up slowly. | ||

Cheers mate, I bottled that tire before even touching it. May have another one coming up James is still injured although he did a few light things today. When you down next? Not sure how much training will get done over the coming weeks with Naz comp next Sunday then the 90's the week after but I want to do things | ||

Anyway, trained at gym1 tonight. Deadlift 60kg x 8 100kg x 5 150kg x 3 190kg x 3 220kg x 1 250kg x 1 275kg x 3 275kg x 3 275kg x 3 Tried a different technique on the last set which kept me in a better position through the lift but I probably won't get the speed on the heavier weights that I di normally. Back extensions 3 x 5 reps paused Close grip paused bench Bar x 10 60kg x 5 100kg x 3 145kg x 4 145kg x 4 145kg x 4 Wanted 5's but wasn't happening. Still going to go up 5kg next week and see how it goes. Tricep pushdowns 90kg x 10 90kg x 10 90kg x 10 Happy with the session especially as I had a banging headache during deads. Feeling good for some big lifts in the near future. | ||

Member 2298, 1768 posts SQ 255, BP 200, DL 320775.0 kgs @ 127kgs UnEq | Wednesday 10th April Trained at gym1 Squats 60kg x 5 100kg x 3 140kg x 3 Slight hip pain so left it there Leg extensions 40kg x 10 50kg x 10 60kg x 10 70kg x 10 80kg x 10 Leg press 100kg x 3 Hack squat 80kg x 8 Hamstring curls 40kg x 10 40kg x 10 40kg x 10 40kg x 10 Hip hurts when I do any squat movement so had to sack off the leg press and hack squats. Not very painful but a nagging pain after doing anything that stretches it. Going to stretch every few days then start doing very light squats when able before building up again. | ||

Log 70kg x 5 - strict 70kg x 3 90kg x 3 100kg x 1 110kg x 1 120kg x 1 130kg x 1 140kg x f x f 110kg x 1 - strict 110kg x 5 Not strong enough to press the 140! Clean is easy and can pop it off the chest ok but not strong enough in the shoulders to press it out. 130 is a comfortable weight theses days but I'm not close to 140 at all. Messed about badly with dumbell. Had enough, need to sort out my crap pressing! | ||

Deadlift - tried strict form on all reps 70kg x 5 110kg x 5 150kg x 5 190kg x 3 220kg x 1 250kg x 1 280kg x 3 - hitched last rep 280kg x 3 - back to old form, hitched last rep Had another set of 280 in me but would have prob hitched the 2nd and 3rd. After talking to Karl I decided to drop down and work on technique more, maybe try use my legs for once?! 190kg x 3 190kg x 3 190kg x 3 Lat pulldowns 3 x 10reps Cable rows 3 x 10reps Close grip paused bench 60kg x 5 100kg x 5 130kg x 3 150kg x 3 150kg x 3 150kg x 3 Dumbell incline bench press 25kg x 10 32.5 kg x 10 40kg x 10 Tricep pushdowns 100kg x 10 100kg x 10 100kg x 10 Good session. Going to drop weight on deads for a bit now and work on form, boring I know but will hopefully work out it he future. | ||

Want to learn the Olympic lifts. Rower x 1000m I could hardly walk after rowing due to tight hips, obviously the reason for my painful squats recently. Hopefully doing a bit of rowing a few times a week will help the flexibility. Leg extensions 40kg x 20 40kg x 20 40kg x 20 Leg curls 2pins x 20 3pins x 20 3pins x 20 Done. | ||
