Bars are only rated to 250kg though we didn't read the small print and ours bent in first few sessions : (

My input is check the max ratings in the small print on wherever you buy

Yeah if that Strength Shop one is the same as the one they have at the Junction then I'd recommend it too.Pretty sure it is.

Is it bent? I've not noticed.

We talking about my bar or my dillaling Wink

The bar bent like a banana when Steve pulled 420 on it lol then it sort of straightened bak out over a few weeks it's not bad now but when you squat if you don't get it right it rolls down your back, it has a rating of 620kg or something but a load rating of 250kg Unhappy

I would get a cheap bar tbh or keep an eye out on eBay for an ivanko I like them Happy

(c) Regardless of the load rating of the bar, please choose the bar most appropriate for the type of lifting it will be getting used for. The Weightlifting bar, whilst rated to 1500lbs, is essentially a weightlifting bar, and we would not recommend using it for very heavy squats/deadlifts (roughly 250kg+. For this we would always recommend the Texas bars)

From the horses mouth, we just bought the wrong bar

I've had 300 on mine and it's fine but I'd imagine 420 would banana it.

Squatted 200 for reps with it tonight too
