I just got some of these delivered. I ordered size 8, the size of every other shoe I own (including some Metal lifting boots). f**k me, they are tiny - trying to get them on is like a Geisha's foot-binding.

I'm going to have to exchange them for some 9s and I've discovered that I can send them back in a matchbox.

On the plus side, with those immense wooden heels, I'm nearly five feet tall.

Is this Adidas's Unique Selling Point, making wrongly-sized shoes?

The ironworks are a really narrow fit, some people can't get a good size with them because of that. You could try some Do Wins or the posh new Nike ones if you can find them - I know the Do wins are wider and they have an even bigger heel, which you might like!

I'll try the bigger ones first,if I can'tget on with those I'll look at those options.

I like the avatar.I was thinking about getting that on a T shirt from the Maddox site.

Yeah, it's a good one. That site is absolute genius.

I have a wide relative foot and fit the as size 9 in the IIs fine. Don't know if the III's are narrower.

Do wins have a rep for a high heel which may be too much for some in the back squat?

Their size 11s are a nice fit for me and I sometimes wear 12s for trainers. I actually prefer my lifting shoes to feel tight.
