tlast2O12dude | How pre-overtraining feels to you? | 12-11-2010 @ 00:17
Obvious Juicer Member 1613, 1036 posts SQ 185, BP 140, DL 220545.0 kgs @ 66kgs UnEq | I think that if we all share our personal experiences this thread could healp other people to detect their own pre-overtraining. I know that i'm a few workouts away from overtraining when: ( based on personal experiences, not books ):
All this after almost 2 weeks of squating, deadlifting and benching in the same day in a row (almost). Many posts out there talks about overtraining, i thought that we should post our personal experiences about how do we feel before getting overtrained.

No one believed him anyway. Member 958, 11411 posts SQ 410, BP 215, DL 4251050.0 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | I personally, don't believe in overtraining. There's plenty of negative symptoms of training a lot, but you don't have to let them get in the way of your training progress. It just makes the rest of your life seem miserable... I do however believe in training stupidity. Pushing on through injuries isn't clever, but if you're NOT injuring yourself, you're not training too much. All the effects of doing a lot of training are manageable. Injury isn't.

When this happens I know it's time to start relaxing. Someone I know once said to me "There's no such thing as overtraining. Only under resting." He has a point.
